The Platinum Series

Pompanette designed the Platinum Series Helm Chair & Bench in conjunction with the specifications demanded by the world’s foremost yacht designers. The Platinum’s versatility stems from our objective to offer a uniquely practical helm seat with high tech innovative features, comfort, and a hint of European styling. The Platinum Series line has many different options to choose from, but the base models come equipped with the adjustable reclining backrest, flip-up and down armrests.

With it’s unique combination of comfort and styling, the Platinum Series has been widely embraced by the boat building community. It’s versatility is illustrated in the fact that it is used on the brige of custom sport fishing boats to the pilot house of mega yachts. Available in 1, 2 or 3 person seating.

Quality construction, built to last at sea.

  • Pompanette uses aerospace grade 6061 aluminum on the Platinum Series arms & structural frame. Our aluminum parts are CNC machined in-house and are ideal for harsh marine environments due to their light weight, durability & corrosion resistance.
  • The Platinum Series features beautifully polished stainless steel brackets and professionally assembled in-house with 316L, marine grade, stainless steel fasteners. Stainless steel is ideal for harsh marine environments due to it’s rust & corrosion resistance, strength and luster.
  • The Platinum Series cushions are upholstered in-house, utilizing white marine grade vinyl as standard. Optional leather & custom upholstery options are available upon request. Pompanette has access to a limitless array of fabrics & materials such as naugahyde, ultra leather, luxor leather, sunbrella, and exotic materials to create something one of a kind.

You simply will not find a better helm chair.
  • Helm chairs come top only with the box mount or spider mount for a pedestal. Pedestals and accessories sold separately.
  • This is an oversized item and is delivered on a pallet/skid. Delivery to a commercial address is highly recommended.
  • Yes, Pompanette ships products worldwide across the globe. Shipping charges will be determined and billed separately once your order is ready to ship.
  • Helm chair restoration/refinishing intervals will vary case by case depending on environment, use, and individual care. Typical refinish intervals is every 5-10 years. Pompanette offers full refinishing services for all helm chairs, including upholstery, clear coat, repairs and much more. Please contact us for information.
