Bomar 1600-CB Sliding Door Features:

Our 1600-CB series commercial grade door is fully tested in the tough conditions of the North Atlantic. With its interlocking door panel to frame joint, along with generous drains for water egress, this door keeps water intrusion to a minimum even in the worst conditions. It features Dupont Delin® acetal resin tracks and glides for trouble-free operation and service.

Available in any custom size to meet your requirements. With direct glazed glass, the viewing area can be custom sized to fit your design needs while giving a clean, frameless look from the exterior.

Bomar’s (Aluminum 2000) sliding doors set the new standard for quality and relibability in today’s marine industry. These custom extrusions have been designed to incorporate a dual integral tracking system, weather seals, and hardware options to ensure positive, long-lasting performance. In addition to our standard welded master frames and innovative composite panels, this design allows for the versatility of both exterior or interior installations plus angular and radius configurations.

As with every quality product from Bomar (Aluminum 2000), these entry doors will be custom designed to fit your specifications, whether single, double or multiple panel, with a variety of matching color finishes.

• Robust master frame design with a “key-lock” design which captures the glide track to improve durability and easy replacement in the field.
• Acoustic foam is the standard insulator although a wide variety of options exist to meet specific design needs.
• Heavy gauge 5000 series 1/8” aluminum skins allow for direct, frameless glazing of window
• Master Frame features an internal stand-off to allow for clearance when the door slides over adjacent windows.
• Trioving locksets are standard and available in a variety of styles and finishes to meet specific design needs.
• Door come with an automatic hold-open latch standard.
• Direct glazed 6mm tempered glass in clear, grey or light green tint.
• Built to ABS and DNV standards.

1600-CB Sliding Door Options:

• Interior clamp ring for thru-bolt mounting of master frame.
• Doors can be fitted with an 8100 series drop-down window or horizontal sliding windows for venting.
• Powder coat finish.
• 10mm (3/8″) or thicker glass can be installed in the door panel when needed to meet a specific design need.

1600-CB Sliding Door Fabrication:

The master frame of aluminum extrusions is welded and mechanically assembled to assure a weather-tight jamb. Door panels are composite and glazed using 1/4″ tempered glass and cored panels. Custom angled and radius shapes are available with developed designs to allow for ease of installation.
